Where are all my affies? I think an affie check will be necessary soon. Not much has happened this week, that I can think of at least, but I definitely need to blog.

I’ve been working on a layout that was going to be a winter skin, but I think it’ll just be a web layout. I’ve also been having loads of history homework, as usual, and have been falling asleep in History class. Thankfully, the teacher opened the window today and let in a bit of fresh air. Om nom.

I’ve returned to Subeta, kinda. Its changed a bit and I don’t remember a lot from when I used to go on there a lot. That was a year ago, because I remember Morostide (Halloween). I love Subeta. Its like neopets with brilliant art, artists and a cbox. I haven’t tried taking art commissions there again though. Only on mweor.

Tomorrow I have a field trip to this infamous city. All the signs are in spanish because of how many immigrants, legal and illegal, live there. I’m going with my spanish class. We’ll be teaching adults and children at a literacy program english. A lot of them don’t even know how to write in spanish. It’ll be interesting…I’m not sure whether I want to teach the children or the adults. Hum. Wish me luck, I’m feeling intimidated.

Friday I’ll be seeing New Moon with some friends from my old school, pulling off the act of insane twilight fangirl and screaming with the rest. Hurhur. I think I’ll enjoy it. Bella gets depressed, and I’m not going through the happiest of days right now either. I never liked Jacob much, but wolves are cool. Except in the movie they seem to roar. o.O Wolves don’t roar…I guess werewolves do. *spolier* Oops.

In art class we are moving onto painting. I feel bad because I rudely snatched a picture option (we’re painting famous paintings) from someone that they wanted, and in the process I looked like a fool because I lost my footing and way pretty much laying across the table. I like that person too, even though I don’t know them. *fail* I hope she’ll forgive me; I just couldn’t stand the idea of painting some stuck up princely rich bum…Oh well.

Tomorrow we’re going on a field trip to Shaker Village in New Hampshire. Its gonna be good, because I don’t have any classes or homework…And shakers are pretty cool. Its a shame its a dead religion now, they had some rather nifty ideas. If I wasn’t a christian, I’d want to be a shaker. Maybe.

Ah yes, no content. Sad, yes? I did go around to over twenty sites advertising the halloween contest though…And yesterday I redid the Death banner.

Anyhow, I’m off to get my homework done, and then I’ll be back to work on content. I’ve got to make up for not updating majorly in a while.

I woke up at three in the morning with post nasal drip (snot in my throat) and a really sore throat. It killed killed killed to swallow. I managed to fall asleep and had a pleasant dream about going to a Coldplay concert, but I didn’t get past the second support band. Oh well, it was still cool. Unlike the other five or so concert dreams I’ve had, this one was indoor, in some elaborately furnished red theatre with wooden bleachers.

Anyhow, in the morning my brother and I got out to the bustop late. The bus hadn’t come yet, but when I got there I realized I’d left my homework folder in my room. I ran back to my house as fast as I could (I actually impressed myself by how fast I sped up. It was like run, run run, BAM! Supersonic speed!) and got to the door…to find it locked. I was spazzing out, and I attacked the door, hammering it with my fists as hard as I could hoping one of my parents would hear me so I could tell them to bring my folder to school.
Alas, whilst I was pounding, I heard the foreboding sound of a bus coming, and a few seconds later it went by. NUUU!! I turned around and traveled at the speed of sound back to my stuff at the bus stop with everybody probably watching me (*blush*) and followed everybody else on, giving the bus driver a weak smile.
While I was sitting on the bus I was feeling really bad. Not only was I sick, I was in a poor emotional state and on the verge of tears. When I got to school I realized I could call my dad and have him bring it in. He was coming to my school anyway to chaperone my brother’s field trip. Thank God, he got it in before I had my homework checked…*glomps God with relief*

The day ended on a light note with me taking a giant history exam and writing the best essay of my life. :D Here are some questions for you.

I was stolen from once before. It was a while ago, and I was flattered by it. I’m good enough to be stolen from! *gasp* But now that I’ve come to terms with that, being stolen from again…ARG. Its the ultimate disrespect, and now I feel depressed.
This time its worse than before. The person stole layouts I made on mweor and sold them for a pretty penny. She edited them first, but not that much, and of course, no credit. And what makes me especially angry is that she’s sold more of my layouts than I have. I’m not really intent on selling my layouts, I’m too busy to be making them all the time, but STILL. Gaaaahh…I’m angry.
I reported her of course, when I realized it, but the admin people on the site still haven’t replied. And then, when I saw she was making a new layout with my code I sent her a message. I dunno, I probably shouldn’t have done that. She’s denying and denying it, which is really frustrating. The whole while I feel like my innards are melting. I’m so saddened and angered by this. Dude, we both know you stole it. You might as well wave a piece of paper with my handwriting on it in my face and tell me its not mine.
I think the thing thats really eating me is the completely illogical worry that I’m wrong and she really didn’t steal it. I know that’s not so, but I guess some part of me want’s to believe it. *sigh*

I just hope this gets resolved so my moral suffering can end sooner.

Edit: I just thought of something. The pilferer said they learned how to make the layouts from some website. It is possible then, that the website provided my code for people’s usage…I’m going to reread the messages the person sent me to see if this could be consistent with their explanation.

First of all, I must apologize. We were supposed to have a halloween contest the first two weeks of October, but that didn’t happen. I’ll work on pulling together something for you visitors and affies anyhow…

Second, I’m working on a really nifty october layout for Figmint. Its going to use a really cool technique none of you guys have ever thought of, and it’ll be zombie themed. I already make the main image: its awesome.

Third. Content…I’ve gotta make some layouts, I haven’t for an abnormally long time. I also took some (two) pumpkin stock photos, and I’ll be adding them to frisbystock.deviantart.com

Ah, now onto a new subject. I’ve got some good news, and some bad news, sitely wise. Bad news comes first, so you can leave feeling good. Bad news is that Riddle Me This is dead, now resting in peace in the Affie Graveyard. Good news: there has been a resurrection! Aashni is back from the dead! I guess there are only so many spaces in the cemetery. So go over to The New Fearless and be happy.

First of all, there’s another filter thing going around, so if you’re not on top of that, all your neopet site layouts probably don’t work. Affies, you might want to look into it…I think I know how to solve it (Thankies Del!), but I’m not sure. We’ll see.

Alright…darn. My fingers are really stiff and slow to type. Oh. Blog…yes.

This week at school is fun. It was a long weekend for us Americans due to Colombus Day. Thats about the only good thing Colombus did; give us a holiday. Anyhow, I would’ve liked to do a lot more over the weekend than I did, but it didn’t work out that way. Monday I went to the orthodontist, and now I only have to wear my retainer at night. I’m a bit unhappy about it, because I can bite my nails again. And oh boy, with what’s going on in school, they have been nibbled to nubs. Not really, but…*shudder* Nubs. Thats just a scary thought.

Also on Monday I got some clothes. I got an orange sweater thing (haven’t tried it on yet), and an amazing grey sweatshirt I’m wearing right now. Its super thick and has fleece on the inside. Not the cheepo stuff, the stuff that looks king of like fur or wool. Anyhow, its so thick that when I put one of my cats on my shoulders, and her nails weren’t trimmed, and I was only stabbed a little! Awww….Medkins, my luff. *snuggles Meadow* She’s the cutest cat in the world: small with short little legs and a round body. She has the best temperament too. <3333

So, after those errands I had to carve a pumpkin for spirit week at school. And I did just that. I sat down on my sunroom at three in the afternoon, and chipped away at it until 10 at night. I did eat dinner in between and laid down for five minutes because my back hurt too much…But it was intense! I’ll get a picture of the outcome as soon as I can…

This week at school has been pretty messed up. Today everyone in my spanish class was taking PSATs, but because I’m a freshman, I couldn’t. Instead I watched this nifty movie called La Bomba about “Ritchie Valens” in a classroom with a bunch of strangers and a cool teacher. It was fun. Somehow during the movie, but lone pencil disappeared though, and I had to write in black and grey colored pencil for the rest of the day. Grey looks more like pencil, if you were wondering.
Instead of my last class, we went out to the big field/bleachers place and had Spirit Week events. Each class competes against the others, and the freshmen never win. I think it has something to do with the fact that we always have to compete against seniors…xD There were a bunch of contests, and we got third place in a bunch, and first in one. One of then was the spin-around-a-bat-and-run game, and I did that. It was very hard.

So anyhow, I need to conclude this so I can feed my cats and make a layout or something. Huzzah! El Fin.
