Figmint was started way back, before even Frisby can remember. March 19th, 2008, seems like a probable brith date though. What she does know is that the name originated from a writing forum/community thing she wanted to start. That was a flop, since an exceptional knowledge of languages like MySQL and PHP would have been needed to make that idea thrive. Or a large wad of dough would have done the job, she supposes.
Anyhow, after she failed at that, she decide to put her not-very-impressive web designing skills to the test and started the site. She didn't care that only eight people or so (probably all herself) visited the site a month, but eventually, with a groan and a sigh, she made figmint something more like it is today. (What's with the lack of name capitalization? The lowercase f is more attractive than the uppercase. xD)

Name: FrisbyGrade: I go to a 6th through 12th grade school and I've never stayed back...
Appearance: Brown hair, black glasses with blue on the back. Braces no more! 18th percentile.
Occupation: Student.
Future Occupation: Author, web designer, and possibly artist or musical artist.
Hobbies: Roleplaying (feline, mostly), web designing, drawing, lurking, and singing along to Chris Martin.
Favorite Food: Cheesecake.
Favorite Music: Rock and Alternative. Coldplay is the uberpwner, and you know it. My favorite song is Viva la Vida, but I also love Twisted Logic, Clocks, and White Shadows. Led Zeppelin and Rush are really pwnsome too...Do I have some repulsion to american musicians? Maybe. Brits pwn. Canadians are pretty awesome too.
And even more: My whole web designing hobby-career thing started when I got serious about roleplaying, because I created my own guild and needed a guild layout, surprise, surprise...And the rest is history.
I'm writing a book. I think I'm past page 60, and thats only counting what I've typed. I guess you could say I'm on my third or second draft. The longest draft I've written was 150 pages, I hated it when I finished, and went back to the drawing board.
I am a devout Apple fan and sincerely hope Steve Jobs doesn't die of cancer. I wish he was immortal. ;_;
I use a iMac, one with the swivel screen, and it pwns. I also have a Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet, with no major complaints. Get one (it comes with three art programs for macs and PCs!).
