Figmint's Green Campaign is an effort to have as many people as possible do one small thing at a time so together, we will make an impact. Want to join the campaign? There are three simple things you need to do.
- Do one thing that'll help fight global warming--You can pick one from the list below, or if you know of one, you can do that.
- If possible, add a Green Campaign banner/button to your site or another visible place, or refer someone to this page if you can.
- Email the following to frisby.figmint@gmail.com:
"I am NAME HERE and I'm joining the green campaign. I have decided to TASK HERE."
I will then add your name to the list below and you'll have done your part in making a difference.How else can you support the campaign? You could email Frisby for more information about how you individually could, but if you don't want to, you could always promote it and tell people you know about it. Together, we can make a difference. :D
Tasks
- Replace a normal lightbulb with a fluorescent lightbulb.
- Separate paper/cans/plastic from trash and recycle.
- Shut down my computer completely during the night.
- Reuse something instead of throwing it away.
- Take empty storage things (ie, Thules) off the roof of your car.
- Wear blankets and more clothes instead of turning up the heat.
- Plant a tree.
- Carpool.
- Drive less and walk when you can instead.
- Use reusable bottles instead of cheap plastic ones.
