I’ve got a few random things to talk about today. First, some bad news. I’m going to Maine next week. I’ll be gone monday to saturday. ;_;
Now some good news…

Um…Ah yes.

Lately I’ve been preparing for tutorial week by installing this and that and taking screenshots. You’ll find out what the tutorials are going to be about when they come. Don’t get overexcited. ;) I’ve got two new ones panned so far, plus I wanna work on the CSS tutorial, ’cause thats still a work in progress.

I’ve also been writing a lot lately. I’m on page ten of the editted/rewrite of my book, and I’ll offer you a little excerpt below. :D

Here we are…Enjoy this particularly emotion scene. ^^

When the vornieg’s body went limp, Zion released it and staggered backwards, trembling. His eyes were wide with shock, for he had done the impossible, and now he was just as terrible as his victim.

“I am a murder,” he whispered, out of breath, and horrified at his own actions. Zion sank to the ground and stared at the dead beast. His vision became blurry and he felt nauseous. If he had gotten to eat the vorsa, he would have vomited, but instead he closed his eyes and tried to breathe.

What happened to me? he wondered. I…laughed…at the creature’s pain. I was able to kill a vornieg. Who am I?

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I DON’T KNOW!”

Zion had risen to his feet and paced around the dead vornieg. When he screamed the last three words, tears welled over and his body shook violently. A flock of birds took off with rowdy screeches.

Am I insane?

And uh, I could’ve sworn there was something else I wanted to talk about, but I forget what it was. Oh well. I’ll try to make some content later.

Yestrday was Extravaganza Day, the day when Frisby tries to make as much content as humanly possible. Considering that I started late in the day, I think I did pretty good.

There are now 7 new banners, icons, and 3 new backgrounds.

All the banners are feline/warriors related. I thought I’d take advantage of all the stock I downloaded.

Happy Father’s Day!

I added six large backgrounds this morning. From now on I’m gonna make sure they’re really nice and quality. Actually, making these was way more fun than I though it’d be too. Click to see them all.

Also, regarding the Summer Contest we have four, going on five entrants. We could still use some more, but I’m really thankful to everyone who has entered. We’ll be voting soon, maybe after we get one more contestant or so. (:

I was having a bit of fun in Photoshop today, trying new things. I learned you can actually save selections. Cool, eh? Apparently only for a document though, so if you save it on one it won’t work on another. I dunno, I didn’t use it a lot.

So, I finally have a decent amount of content added! Huzzrrah!

And you know what??!! ITS CAT DAY! (My cat’s birthday. And mother’s day. o.o)

I made three icons of the same image but with different colors and effects.

I also made a userlookup. Its cat themed, but isn’t under the warriors section (its under animals). I meant to name the image file “Hulloscat.jpg,” but I wrote Hullose by mistake, and since its such a fun word I’m naming the cat in the picture Hullosecat.

Mmm…And finally a (go figure) cat themed banner! It has a quote from Sunrise (from the warriors series) and is from the epic ending. If you stare at the banner enough and philosophy some, it might be a spoiler. So don’t stare at it for too long, though it might be hard.

Also, we only have one entrant in the May SOTM! If you have a site and like free stuff, just enter!

I made all this cat themed content, posted this update on the ninth (but it didn’t appear right away ’cause of daylight’s savings time or something), and then later in the day checked the calendar to realize that tomorrow was cat day where all content had to be cat themed. xD
Talk about subconscious, eh?
So I just changed the date this update appears to the tenth.}
