They tried to hide the pain
but it still seeps through visible
where the skin is thinnest.
The tender flesh around a crumpled bone
is their life now.
Don’t press too hard on it.

Yo. Somehow I just finished my homework about seven hours earlier than usual. o_O Dnno how, but in any case, it feels like a good day. I’m happy at least. I was reading some o Aashni’s poems, and you should check them out ’cause they are cool. http://a-poem-a-day.co.nr/

Anyway, now I’m inspired. I think its because of the rainy feel to the air and that making me happy. And reading the House on Mango Street, which isn’t so terrible after all because I think I learned to appreciate it this time around. In any case, I want to write a poem about days like this. I think I’m going to have more creative blogs in the future. I like the idea of photoblogs. Minimalist.

What is it?

Its the dear drear grey sky hanging heavy over the dead yellow cold grass.
And the air is clammy like a corpse but it’s thick with appreciation,
and it seeps beneath the corner of my jaw. Leeching cold,
but it’s a certain coolness
with the right hint of grey and
blue cold
that makes my heart
quicken with life and joy.
This is my day,
steps liven.
The earth’s stiff skin can relax
after many hard days of winter frostbite
and the water seeps in like its a
porous sponge
brown yellow slosh ice
no more,
life awakens,

while they complain of the grey rain
that doesn’t actually come, and
only I can see that grey is just as alive as red.

I’ve been feeling better. My eye stopped pussing after sunday and I got eye-drops after going to the emergency room. I have to be careful not to touch it, but my main problem lately has been massive quantities of math homework. Ridiculous.

WOAH. “*kicks brain*” just gave me a massive inspiration to draw something like that. Which reminds me that I need to check on my art guild. Hum. For some reason, social psychological problems I suppose, I fear opening that webpage.

I remember what I was going to say, but its nasty, so I won’t tell. Instead, I’ll show you my entry to the February contest, and the one that won.

Man, I was pwned. Mine’s the one that looks like fanupdate. :/ See, they know how to make that cool kind of art you see in logos these days. That will have to be a project of mine in the future.

So, yes, I have been doing somethings while I’ve been sick.

I got an electric mattress pad yesterday because I always freeze to death. Unfortunately its a bit late as the days are already getting quite warm. It was 86 in the sun room yesterday (poor rabbit got baked).

I finished the video…I dunno how I’m going to present it or save it or whatever. I emailed my teacher but phrased my plight horribly. Oh well, too late. Blarg. I had a bit of a fever yesterday, but the thermometer says I dun have one now. Maybe its lying. My mom was gonna take me to the doctors if I had a fever still. Grr. She thinksI either have a sinus infection or an ear infection. Someone always seems to have a sinus infection, and I’ve had so many ear infections I’ve grown to enjoy the taste of the pills. o_O

So…

I’m working on a design challenge against all these actually designer adults. I’ll probably get no votes when I enter (I never do, even if mine is clearly better…) but its still kinda fun to enter.

Yup…

Maybe I’ll share it sometime.

I thought I was getting better the other day, but I guess not. Now I feel worse.

I finished my health project and I’ve still got to make that movie. How will I with no voice? Also, I’m nearly done with the project premade.
